Day 10 – quick note – It’s 12:10 pm here and we just passed MM 73 on the Illinois River. That makes 700 miles. We left at 12:15 pm last Sunday, so our intended 100 miles a day is still on schedule. Looks like pics are back up on the site, I added a couple, and will get to more this evening. Happy Mothers Day!

I received your phone message. Thanks for taking the time. I know you have been busy. Please help me to determine who sent flowers Friday. There was no florist card but a nice card signed Wanda & Steve. I hope this is a good sign. It was left on the front porch. No one was home.

I know it's going to be hard to leave her behind when you come home but everyday you're getting closer!
